Thomas Pihl

Overview

New Exhibition: Thomas Pihl

This December, we are delighted to invite you to Thomas Pihl’s second exhibition at the gallery.

Since his previous show with us, Pihl has further developed his characteristic visual language. Alongside his well-known monochrome canvases—created through a precise process of carefully pouring paint in layers—he now presents a brand-new series of monumental paintings executed with a brush.

The exhibition offers a unique insight into a more immediate and tactile side of Pihl’s artistic practice, where the dynamics of the brushstroke meet the refined, meditative colour space he is renowned for. We welcome you to an exhibition exploring the space between control and painterly expression.
